The Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) is an independent and impartial Regulatory Authority for Private Sector Universities, Institutes and Colleges. It derives its authority from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Registration and Functioning of Private Educational Institutions Ordinance 2001.
