Launching of web portal for Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an important step towards merit and transparency. The wave of adoption of e-government technology is increasingly gaining momentum in the developing countries for enhancing good governance capabilities of public organizations.

The Provincial Government had allocated Rs. 500 million as Chief Minister Endowment fund for those brilliant students, who because of poverty could not afford higher studies in the educational institutions. In order to uplift the standards of Higher Education, the Department has also started imparting quality education across the province.

For the sustainable economy and community advancement, the scope of higher education is continuously increasing day by day, and will remain significant over the next decades.
